I felt obliged to share an experience I had that really is one of those things that you go & just tell your girlfriends, co-workers, clients and loved one's. At Elite Fitness you all know that we are centered around taking care of our bodies & living healthy, happy lives. So, some of you may have known that I have been searching in the area for a local massage therapist. I don't have to tell you how many hours I work, express the stress & pain my body has to endure and how I sometimes just long for a nice relaxation rub down. So, since my relocating to the town I have not been able to find someone I was really pleased with until now! Hickory Holistic Massage is my new favorite place and Mary De Luca is the answer to my prayers! I know I sound so over dramatic here & you may be asking how much I am getting paid to write this message to you but I assure you, Mary will be reading this for the first time when you check your inbox as well. I almost asked permission to send this to you ladies and express my gratitude first but I decided what a better form of flattery and really expressing how much I was satisfied with the services I received from Mrs. De Luca then sharing my experience like this.

If you are like me you juggle the job, stressful schedule, and then our workouts are far from pain free so your body probably could use a good massage as well. Now, I know there are tons of massage therapist around but when I say this lady is the real deal, I mean it! I have had massages before & you know we all have our preferences. Mary uses a different technique that I had never heard of before called cross fiber technique when she massages you. If you check out her website that I provided below there is a great explanation of this as I won't even attempt to make you understand. Let's just say it's different, not what you are use to probably but it gets the job done. She can massage you according to your pressure needs or requests but typically the cross fiber technique is more of deep tissue massage and will really work your muscles and loosen you up. She works out of her home which has an inviting, professional yet warm and relaxed aura about it. The home is simply gorgeous & Mary is wonderful.

I was referred to Mary by one of my newer clients & didn't really know what to expect. The rates are competitive & definitely affordable and the service far exceeded my expectations. I purchased a multi-session package & cannot wait until my next massage! My search is over and although I will still be very busy, my body will probably ache and have pains from stress & over training, I now have Mrs. De Luca, owner of Hickory Holistic Massage, to provide what I will go as far as to say was the BEST 60 minute full body massage I have ever received. Mary performs the massage in her home which can be a turn off for a lot of people, but she has a great set-up and she is professional from start to finish. First of all, you don't have to go down to a "basement dungeon" or anything...it is right near the front door. The best way I can describe the massage from Mary is it is part therapeutic massage and part chiropractic, in that she takes the time to ensure your body is properly aligned. Most massage therapists fail to do this. So give Mary a shot, and then do a repeat. The second session is 10x better than the first!
